Funky Unique and Cool Shower Curtains For Your Bathroom

In a kid's playhouse, your children can be excited about all of the wild "places" that they can go! With just a little imagination, a little art work, and a whole lot of wonder, your backyard could be transformed into a safari or rainforest, with the play hut serving as the explorer's cabin. From look-out posts to the lab centers, your children can make their outdoor playhouse a perfect little space for adventure. Here's how:

Purchase the long rolls of paper that children can tear off to make life-sized images of animals. Do a little research to find out how to draw or make different safari animals. Have your child cut out the final products and hang them on the windows or walls. Another option is to use them to make huge foot prints for an animal such as an elephant that may be on the loose!! However you decide to use the images that you draw, trace, or cut out, be sure that they are big for a more authentic experience.

Be sure to use lots of animal print fabric around the kids playhouse. From window treatments to chair coverings, the more animal print stuff, the better. You may even consider creating a "rug" using the fabric or purchase a faux-fur rug that is shaped like an animal pelt. If you have faux fur in the kids playhouse, do your best to have your child shake it out and keep it from getting completely wet too often. Otherwise, it could start to smell!

Supply your child and his or her friends with different safari based scavenger hunts. They will have a blast looking for the objects and could learn a lot about the different animal and plant species along the way.

Create a lab center inside of the playhouse using a small desk, table, or shelf and a microscope. This will allow your child to "analyze" the items that they find during their safari expeditions outside of the hut.

Your kids playhouse is a safe haven from all of the "wild animals" that roam around their cabin. Take the fun up a notch by keeping wacky fun snacks such as bones crafted from crispy rice treats, gummy eyes, and candy fish readily available for your hungry little explorers!
